ABOUT THE PROJECT
ARENA Nightclub 2.0 marked the reopening of the iconic nightlife brand at a new Orange County location (previously ARENA KTOWN in Los Angeles), building on its reputation as a culturally influential space known for hip-hop and EDM within the Asian community. I was brought on as a freelance apparel graphic designer to create limited-edition, vintage-inspired launch tees sold exclusively during opening weekend, with no additional reprints to preserve collectibility. The designs balanced nostalgia and relevance, drawing from sports and motorsport references to spark immediate recognition while integrating key brand identifiers tied to Arena’s history and community. With a flexible brief and close collaboration with one of the founders, the project relied on strong conceptual judgment to deliver bold, wearable designs that energized Arena’s next chapter.
