ABOUT THE PROJECT

One of my favorite industries to draw creative inspiration from is the sports industry, and growing up in LA, it was only natural for me to become a Los Angeles Lakers fan. Over the past few seasons, I’ve been drawn to their in-game and social feed, which use their iconic purple and gold colors, dynamic typography, and varied design elements to showcase players, stats, and historical moments. For this personal project, I designed unofficial Lakers phone wallpapers featuring some of my favorite past and current players, while exploring typography, color, composition, and cultural imagery to celebrate both the players and the team’s lasting legacy.

Focus / Goal:

• Explore bold typography and Lakers-inspired color schemes

• Use layered graphic elements to create a cohesive, visually engaging style

• Celebrate key players from past and present
